The Tortoise and the Hare

"I am the fastest animal in the forest," the hare said. 

"I could run circles around you, tortoise."

"I challenge you to a race," the hare said. 

"If you can beat me, I will admit that you are the fastest animal in the forest."

The hare took off running, and the tortoise started slowly after him. 

The hare was soon far ahead, and the tortoise could barely see him.
